We’ve always loved using New Zealand sourced hops and were one of the very first UK brewers to use them.

Exciting hop developments continue apace in New Zealand and our April 2024 seasonal beer “Nectaron®” will be a single hop beer brewed with the outstandingly powerful and intense new Kiwi variety of the same name.

A full sister to Waimea, Nectaron® was released in 2020 after 17 years of careful breeding work.

And we love the fact that it was named after a guy called Ron!

Expect loads of Southern Hemisphere tropical pineapple, passion fruit and peach characters plus citrus grapefruit notes and herbal hints.
