| In free houses and beer festivals across the Country, Oakham's refreshing flavours makes their beers fast sellers. Therefore you have to be quick to catch them on their all too rare appearances. Now at last the lucky Midlands drinker and visitors to Birmingham can find all the regulars, seasonals, and one off brews, at the Bartons Arms, one of the country's most historic pubs. We're not just an Oakham pub and want to keep it all to ourselves, as we also offer guest beers from around the country. |

As The Bartons Arms is owned by the award-winning Oakham Ales it is no suprise to find complementing perennial favourites such as JHB and Bishops Farewell along with a number of guest beers that change on a regular basis and an impressive range of bottled beers from around the world. Alongside our Oakham beers we will always have a mild on hand pull and a selection of guest beers from micro breweries nationwide.
We pride ourselves on the selection of real ales available and endeavour to ensure that each is served in the best condition possible. Casks are kept in the extensive cellars below the building and overseen by trained staff.
The care we take in serving you these beers was recognised in the awarding of the Bartons Arms as Birmingham Pub of the Year by the Birmingham branch of CAMRA in 2004.
You will always find a local brewery represented to conform with the Camra Locale Initiative. To be accredited with this we must have an ale from a brewery within a 30 mile radius of the venue. |

As for bottled beers, its not just our opinion, our customers and the local press tell us too, but we also have what is regarded as one of the best ranges of imported, mainly Belgian, bottled beers in Birmingham. You won't find all the common stuff, but you will find some of the very best examples of different beer styles, some real rarities, even in Belgium, and some remarkable beers that are not as yet as well known as they deserve. So, with some of the most sought after real ales, imported beers, imported lagers and wheat beers, the Bartons Arms really is the perfect pub to visit in Birmingham for the beer lover.

Due to us actively seeking out some particular rarities, beers from breweries as yet unsung but producing fantastic beers and the convoluted sourcing of some of our speciality beers, occasions may arise when particular brews may be unavailable. Should this occur, we will be pleased to advise on an alternative.
